The Finance Students’ Society, HKUSTSU is a non-profit student organization founded in 1992. As the only student society connecting the HKUST Department of Finance and undergraduate students, we undertake the responsibility of promoting the interest of our members in Finance. We strive to nurture a sense of camaraderie and affection among members and student societies; to foster closer relationships with faculty members, alumni and students as well as to innovate and bring forth societal success.

1. To promote the continuous development of finance in tertiary education.

2. To devote ourselves to strive for the greatest benefits for our members.

3. To establish holistic and mutual relationships and interactions with both internal and external official and student bodies.

4. To provide opportunities for students to relax and get to know more people through the organization of non-academic related activities.

5. To expand students’ understanding in finance through the organization of academic-related activities.

6. To serve as a platform for exchange of opinion between students and official bodies especially the department of Finance.
