Have you ever seen the kung fu movie《Ip Man》? Themartial art used in the movie is Wing Chun, a traditional Southern Chinese Kung fu. This martial art is characterized by close-distance hand-to-hand combat. Based on the centerline concept, Wing Chun practitioners exert their energy through efficient body structures during combat, so that they can defend their opponent’s attack and strike back simultaneously. Our society will hold regular practice every week. We invite skillful Wing Chun master to teach martial art in UST campus. Depending on levels of members, the master offers training contents with various features, from basic body motions to combat simulation, with the explanation of skill principles.
