棋舍於大學內致力宣傳、 推廣各類桌上遊戲、紙牌遊戲以及棋類 。本會希望從各項推廣活動中， 為會員在繁瑣的學習生活中，得到適當的舒緩。 同時透過遊戲，讓同學明白群體生活的重要，學習溝通技巧，增進分析和邏輯思考， 提高個人品德修養，更重要的是增加彼此間的友誼。
Throughout the years, the aims of Games Society remains: helping UST students under enormous workload to wind down and at the meantime nurturing multifarious skills of players. Table-top boardgames, chess and card games are our major focus.
