Established in 1994, The University Choir, HKUSTSU, is dedicated to promote choral singing and elevating the musical standards of students across the university. Under the expert guidance of our Music Director and Conductor, Mr. Francis Mok, the choir has made significant strides in vocal technique, ensembleship and musicality. Our choir performs regularly throughout the year, with highlights including our Annual Performance, the Fall Semester Performance, various university events (such as the School Anthem recording, Information Days and alumni gala dinners), and international choral competitions. Notably, in 2026, we were awarded Third Place (Gold Award) at the 78th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival, a testament to our efforts and dedication. Beyond rehearsals and performances, we host various social activities — such as our Orientation Day and Farewell Party — to foster strong bonds and friendships among our members.
